Hints for doing well in Chemistry (and most other classes):

1)  Come to all classes.

2)  Review your notes after each lecture.  Annotate to clarify.

3)  Read the text before class.

4)  Start on homework well in advance of the due date. 

5)  Try all homework problems on your own and get help in office hours or section when you are stuck.

6)  Remember that there is no substitute for pushing yourself hard on the homework.

7)  Science is a collaborative activity -- working in groups is fine but be sure you really know how to solve problems.

  I recommend that you read each upcoming chapter the weekend before class and then start on the homework either Sunday evening or Monday.
